CareCredit is a financing program for medical expenses that covers both people and pets. If your vet doesn’t offer payment plans, ask if they accept CareCredit. If you’re eligible, you might be able to spread out your payments over several months. And some vets are willing to negotiate payment plans on a case-by-case basis, depending on the client’s need. Not all veterinarians will offer payment plans, but some do. Make smooth and tight balls by pulling each piece of dough from the bottom to the top and pinching it closed. If you want them to be equal in size, weigh them. Portion the dough into eight equal portions. Remove the dough at the end of the DOUGH cycle onto a floured surface for shaping. I consent to receive emails from Salad in a Jar in my inbox. If your dough is too wet, add flour one tablespoon at a time. Recheck the consistency of the dough again 15 minutes into the DOUGH cycle. Add more flour if too wet, or a little more water if the mixture is too dry until it starts to clump. If it looks like pancake batter or dry oatmeal, you may have made a mistake in measuring. See the recipe notes if you only have active dry yeast available.īAKING SODA: So far, you can see that the ingredients listed are pretty standard for yeast bread dough. YEAST: If you’ve baked with me before, you know I use instant yeast (AKA bread machine yeast, or rapid-rise yeast) in all of my bread machine recipes. If you want to make traditional ballpark pretzels with this recipe, bread flour would probably be my first choice. If you want a chewier product, use bread flour. Bleached all-purpose flour would also work. UNBLEACHED FLOUR: I tested the recipe with unbleached all-purpose flour. SUGAR: Brown sugar, granulated white sugar, or no sugar at all are acceptable options in this recipe. Sprinkle coarse salt (Kosher or otherwise) on top of the rolls before you bake them. SALT: Use table salt or sea salt in the recipe. VEGETABLE OIL: I like avocado oil, but vegetable oil works fine, too. The preheat phase that many bread machines feature is also not necessary for this recipe. The friction of the bread machine paddles provides more than enough heat to bring all ingredients up to the right temperature. However, unless your water is very hard, you can probably get away with using plain old tap water. Draw water from your faucet and let it sit uncovered on the counter for 24 hours so the chlorine will evaporate. WATER: I use “de-chlorinated” water in my bread recipes. Overall, the amount of data being passed down to the client is very small during replay because all the graphics and visuals are already in the game-client. as well as the players' movements and game actions, and combat actions and results. replay file identifies which client version was in use when the battle was originally fought, and the server-side files identify the map version, vehicle builds for both teams etc. They are "identity" files that then run the all-players commands from the battle re-simulator on the server (which are also used for resolving player disputes, cheat reports, vehicle assessment for rebalancing, etc.) In all 5 games by 3 different publishers, the replay files are just a few MB in size and quite obviously do not contain the visual recording for playback in a multimedia player. I play WoT & WoWS & WoWP & WT & AW and record all battles using the in-client battle replay recorder. I think you are both on-track and off the track here. Most likely, MWO replays would end up even bigger yet with so many independent weapons, criticals, customizable mechs, etc. You can assume that a replay from MWO would be at least 50% bigger than WoT, since it's mostly vectors and their changes that make up a replay file. WoT and any modern RTS are isometric 3D, which have way different stuff going on as opposed to a first-person shooter. They are asking for an event-driven recording that lets the game play back a match, kind of like how a player piano plays key presses. Most people are missing the meaning of what the OP is asking for. In contrast, the current version OpenLayers 6 is still backwards compatible to previous versions of OpenLayers 3. In 2014, OpenLayers 3 was released which was major step because it was a complete rewrite of the library not compatible with the OpenLayers 2 branch anymore. Although OpenLayers is not as approachable for beginners as some of the other APIs, its accumulation of online help resources, and its support for many layer types from both FOSS and commercial sources offer some advantage over other APIs. This community has created a mass of tips and examples on forums such as GIS Stack Exchange. One of nicest things about OpenLayers is the large developer community using the API. It has an extensive collection of documentation and samples, although some of the materials can be difficult for beginners to grasp. OpenLayers is a mature and richly featured JavaScript API for building web map applications. Examples of FOSS web mapping APIsīelow are some examples of FOSS web mapping APIs for building browser-based apps with HTML and JavaScript. Most FOSS APIs for web mapping are geared toward an HTML and JavaScript approach, so this is what we'll focus on in Geog 585. However, knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is usually sufficient to build browser-based apps. If you have people on staff who know Java or Objective C, your options increase for developing native mobile apps. Developing a native app most likely means that you'll be using Java, while developing a browser-based app allows more flexibility and can be done with JavaScript and HTML, perhaps employing an API that's designed to be mobile-friendly (in other words, it supports touch gestures, resizes to device width, and so forth).įrom this example, you can probably also tell that it's important to consider which languages and platforms your developers are familiar with. For example, if you know that your application is required to run on Android tablets, you first need to decide whether you are going to build a full-fledged native app (in other words, one that is available in Google Play and has access to the device hardware such as the camera) or one that simply runs in a web browser on the Android tablet. These two factors affect the APIs available to you. The selection of an API is often tightly coupled with the decision of a platform and programming language. How can you select an API that will be the best fit for your requirements and skill set? If your application is large in scope with many clients, this one decision can affect your professional activities and trajectory for years. When you set out to create a web map, one of the most important choices you will make is which API to use. NET Framework are typically programmed using the C# or Visual Basic languages. NET Framework is solely an API there is no language called. The Java language is used to work with the Java API (and other APIs). For example, there is both a language and an API named Java. Some APIs are supported for use with multiple programming languages and other APIs are tied to one specific language. This lesson introduces some of the different APIs and application development approaches, then gets into detail on how to use the Leaflet API.īe aware that an API is not a programming language rather, it is a set of building blocks that you invoke using a language. The latter two are even more specific in that they are designed around particular proprietary platforms. For example, you may have heard of Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Windows Azure that are designed for proprietary cloud computing environments.ĪPIs designed specifically for the purpose of making web maps include OpenLayers, Leaflet, the Google Maps API, and the ArcGIS API for JavaScript. There are also more specialized APIs built around certain products and functionalities. NET Framework that can be used to write all kinds of programs on desktop, web, and mobile platforms. You've probably heard of general purpose APIs such as Java and the Microsoft. The API abstracts the complexity of the task and makes it easy for you to focus on the mapping aspects of your application, rather than spending time on the low-level logistics. Instead, you can just create a new map object, create a new layer object, and call some method such as layer.addTo(map). For example, web mapping APIs typically include classes for maps and layers so that you don't have to write all the low-level code for displaying an interactive map image and drawing a new layer on it. It provides a set of classes and functions that help you avoid writing all the low-level code to perform specific actions. An API (application programming interface) is a framework that you can use to write a program. This version of Eternatus has the strongest HP, defense, and special defense stats in the series with very high attack and speed stats to go along with them. Throughout every iteration of the Pokemon video game series, the strongest creature encountered thus far is Eternamax Eternatus. Despite the lofty expectations that might set for its in-game strength, Arceus lacks the firepower of “special” legendary Pokemon like Lugia, Palkia, and Solgaleo. Though it’s not portrayed this way across the Pokemon franchise consistently, there are allusions to Arceus having created the entire universe of Pokemon and having formed the Sinnoh region specifically. Offsetting that very advantageous typing is the fact that Sableye has very low stats and Spiritomb has a limited arsenal of attacks.Īrceus, Eternatus, Zacian, Zamazenta, Mega Mewtwo X and Y, and Kyurem all rank among the strongest Pokemon in the series thus far, but for different reasons.įrom a lore and story perspective, Arceus is akin to a god-like character in Pokemon. The typing has just one weakness in fairy, and is immune to fighting, normal, and psychic attacks. The best typing in Pokemon is likely dark-ghost dual types, with Sableye and Spiritomb falling into this category. It does not become a water-flying-dark Pokemon. Mega Gyarados’ type then changes to water-dark, but it remains a dual-type Pokemon by dropping its flying affinity entirely. Similarly, Gyarados is water-flying type but Gyarados can mega evolve into Mega Gyarados. The ground typing is dropped entirely on Tyranitar. Pokemon can change types as they evolve or change forms, but each iteration of a Pokemon has a maximum of two types at any given moment.įor example, Pupitar is a rock-ground dual-type Pokemon but evolves into Tyranitar, which is rock-dark. No, Pokemon can only have one or two types. That said, a case could also be made that pure water should also be recognized as the most common typing as there are three unique normal Pokemon who have the ability to change form in Arceus, Type: Null, and Silvally. However, the most common typing is pure normal Pokemon followed by pure water at 69 and 68, respectively. The next most common is normal, with a total of 115 different normal-type Pokemon. This makes up more than 16% of all Pokemon. The most common Pokemon type by a significant margin is water, of which there are 144 as of Pokemon Sword and Shield. This list grows even further with different variants and unevolved Pokemon. Though one might parse how to classify “legendary” Pokemon, there are more than a dozen psychic-type Pokemon that are story-critical like Solgaleo and Lunala, can only be encountered once during a save like Mewtwo and Azelf, or can only be obtained through promotions like Mew, Jirachi, and Victini. That said, the type most common among legendary and mythical Pokemon is psychic. Of the 898 Pokemon, just 51 are ice type. Ice type is technically the rarest type in the Pokemon series. What is the rarest Pokemon type? What is the most common type? This later served as the basis for the special Team GO Rocket Pokemon seen in Pokemon GO, but shadow is not categorized as a unique type unto itself in Pokemon GO. These Pokemon could be captured from opponents and then purified, restoring them to their standard typing. There is also the special Shadow typing which was only included in Gamecube titles Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. Roy Dotrice appeared in the first episode as Commissioner Simmonds and at the end of the episode it appeared that he would be a regular character by the second (transmitted) episode the character vanished, reappearing partway through the first series in the episode " Earthbound", his only other appearance on the show, in which it is implied that he dies from asphyxia inside an alien spacecraft. The programme also brought Australian actor Nick Tate to public attention. Before moving into the role of Maya during the second series, Catherine Schell had guest-starred as a different character in the Year One episode " Guardian of Piri". Also appearing as regular cast members were the Canadian-based British actor Barry Morse (as Professor Victor Bergman in the first series) and Hungarian-born, US-raised Catherine Schell (as the alien Maya in the second series). networks, Landau and Bain were cast at the insistence of Lew Grade over the objections of Sylvia Anderson, who wanted British actors. To appeal to the American television market and sell the series to one of the major U.S. The headline stars of Space: 1999 were American actors Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, who were married to each other at the time, and had previously appeared together in Mission: Impossible. The programme would then offer four ten-to-twelve minute long acts (allowing for commercial breaks in North America) and finished with a short (and, in the second series, often light-hearted) "epilogue" scene. The second series eliminated this montage. This was followed by a title sequence that managed to convey prestige for its two main stars, Landau and Bain (both billed as 'starring') and to give the audience some thirty-plus fast cut shots of the forthcoming episode. The first series of Space: 1999 used a "teaser" introduction, sometimes called a "hook" or " cold open". The second series used simpler action-oriented plots. Several episodes of the first series hinted that the Moon's journey was influenced (and perhaps initiated) by a "mysterious unknown force", which was guiding the Alphans toward an ultimate destiny. During their interstellar journey, the Alphans encounter an array of alien civilisations, dystopian societies, and mind-bending phenomena previously unseen by humanity. Not long after leaving Earth's Solar System, the wandering Moon passes through a black hole and later through a couple of "space warps" which push it even further out into the universe. The runaway Moon, in effect, becomes the "spacecraft" on which the protagonists travel, searching for a new home. The force of the blast propels the Moon like an enormous booster rocket, hurling it out of Earth orbit and into deep space at colossal speed, thus stranding the 311 personnel stationed on Alpha. Humanity had been storing its nuclear waste in vast disposal sites on the far side of the Moon, but when an unknown form of "magnetic radiation" is detected, the accumulated waste reaches critical mass and causes a massive thermonuclear explosion on 13 September 1999. The premise of Space: 1999 centres on the plight of the inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha, a scientific research centre on the Moon. Production of the first series was from April 1973 to February 1975 production of the second series was from January 1976 to December 1976. Two series of the programme were produced, each comprising 24 episodes. Main article: List of Space: 1999 episodes |
